not scared but kind of bothered on what i might feel...the movie was so expressive that if you know better you will realize that it was close to what really happen to Jesus while saving us...

its kind of boring topic but we all know that most ppl do get bored when we talk about salvation vs. sex.....

just scourging at the pillar makes my eyes wet just think how dense ppl are...i dont understand why ppl just ignore things like that...for every deep wound is for our sins...Jesus was a good man but because he dont want us to burn in hell he haved suffered for everybody.

i know you weren't afraid of the movie (its not a horror movie anyways) but was afraid on what you might realize once you see all those wounds sufferings and pain...you're afraid of what you might feel not the movie itself...

I wasn't scared to see it at all.

First off, it isn't a popcorn and soda movie, its not entertainment.
Tho this is just a film , it was to me what we could get as close as of imagining the days and the day of leading to the cruxifiction of Jesus Christ.

I am sure it was a lot worse in real life, but I think Mr. Gibson gave us a good look into what our Savior did for us.
Yes, I did cry, yes I did get a bad stomach ache. It put things in perspective for me.

The woman that died of the heart attack, the movie prolly had nothing to do with it. She prolly would of had it wherever she was.

God Bless

I heard the violence was disturbing, so I was a bit concerned, but the part that scared me were the children that looked posessed. Especially because I happened to have a fever that night, so I had these insane dreams....yeah thats pretty much it

I thought it was a good movie, and all the controversy around it was and still is ridiculous. It was just telling a story whether you believe in it or not!!

since i have no religious convictions, i just watched it as another piece of cinematic art. I bought the dvd because it had become a part of film history that will be analyzed for years to come.
it did not change my viewpoint, but made me think about all the people who believe what they saw in the film to be true.

Scared? Why on earth would you be scared? Do crappy fairy tales scare you? I will tell what scares me, that people actually believe in that nonsense...There is no god or afterlife. Humans and life evolved. The universe is not 6,000 years old it is more like 15 billion years old [maybe much older].

Not scared at all. It portrayed his death and the circumstances surrounding it very realistically.

I cried watching it, knowing that the reality of it was being as closely portrayed as we might ever see in this generation.

I am catholic but not too religious... I wasn't scared but i was hesitant.

I cried while he was being tortured. It was a very moving and touching movie.

I am still not religious though.

Wasn't scared but, watching anyone brutally tortured for 3 hrs. was enough for me! And sub titles suck!
