Have her arrested for domestic violence! You don't have to tolerate her behavior just because she's your child. They will put her in juvenile and give her counseling (which she needs). This will not stay on her permanent record because when she turns 18 it will be deleted. So don't be concerned over jeopardizing her future because of a police record. I know it's not an easy solution, but it's a good one. Tough love will be her best "teacher". I wish you the best

If my kid EVER, EVER, GOT VIOLENT WITH ME, I WOULD BUST THEIR A**, IN SHORT ORDER. But that's me.
If you are not able to stand up to your kid, let the law do it. It is called assault, and it's a crime. If the kid hits you and disrespects you in that way, then that is EXACTLY where they belong.
You have just saved some poor soul down the road, pat yourself on the back for that one.
However, unless there are some mental issues going on, the reason the kid disrespects you is your fault. You obviously did not take a "parent" roll when the child was younger, or you had poor discipline skills, giving the child no reason to respect you.
As to your question, in some states, you can request that the court make the child a ward of the state, but you may have to foot the bill for his care until he reaches 18. Like a boot camp for example. Or, you could as suggested, call the law, let the kid know there are consequences to their actions, and that requires accountibility. If the kid is not responsible as a minor, I sure as hell don't want to foot the bill for the irresponsiblity as an adult, or pay for the lodging in your local prison system.

You can go to the courthouse and have her emancipated through juvenile court. Which means to legally declare her on her own and she is considered to be an adult. Her parents would no longer be responsible for her. If that's what you really want to do.

Personally, if she was mean to me. I would be beating some ***. I wouldn't tolerate that behavior for something I brought into this world. My dad used to tell me," I brought you into this world and I sure as hell can take you out". Scared me enough to stop doing what I was doing.

How did she get to the point where she knew she could get away with hitting you?? I'm 25 and I wouldn't raise my voice to my mom let alone hit her. My *** would be laid out on the ground. Its too late for that in your case so I would suggest getting the police involved to explore your options. If it were me though I'd whoop her ***!!

if she's violent, you should be able to go to family court, just as you would with any domestic violence problem....

you file a petition to get an order of protection....and you get to explain your situation to a judge....

good - luck!

Contact social service and tell them she is violent and you are scared of her. Ask them to remove her.

make it so that she WANTS to move out

ie. set a lot of rules (she cant be out past 10pm) and when she starts to break them, hint that it would just be easier if she just got out herself
