questions about drinking when clubbing?

Question

i want to ask this cause I've never been there before

how much should i spend on drinking?
can you give me a specific drink to order so i don't look like a newbie?
how and when should i pay for the drinks?
when is it appropriate to buy a girl a drink? (what if a girl i don't like wants me to buy a drink for her? do i have to?)
can you give me a specific drink to order for a girl if i want to buy her a drink?
and how can i keep still of my drink if i want to dance?

I think I'll start with the first question. You should only spend what you can afford. If you can't afford to pay the cover and buy a couple drinks, then you should go somewhere else. I like to order Bushmills (Irish Whiskey) and 7, Bushmills is a better whiskey, so you won't look like a newbie, but if you don't drink much then maybe you should go with a beer like Miller or Sam Adams. You should pay for each drink as you get it. There are some bartenders who will charge you for extra drinks if they think you don't know what you're doing. Usually a dollar for each drink or every other drink is a decent tip in a mid priced bar. You don't have to buy anyone a drink, but if you have a problem saying no then blame it on an imaginary wife or girlfriend. Usually a girl will pick her own drink, if she wants you to choose then go with a strawberry margarita or daquri. If you want to dance, suck the drink down as much as possible and forget it. There's lots of bad people out there who will do nasty things to your drink. Also, make sure to tip the bartender (see above), be nice and respectful to the doorman/bouncer, don't bring anything you can't afford to lose (you know, like your favorite leather jacket), make sure that you go poo before you go out (I know it sounds weird, but just wait till you see a tiolet at a bar!), don't bring too much cash (only what you want to spend), don't try to change drinks, and NEVER EVER drink too fast! It will not be a fun evening if you wind up looking at said toilet for as long as it takes for the bouncers to find out and throw you out.

Order what you like if you don't know what you like try something simple like order a beer first or order a classic drink like a screw driver or tom collins or crown and coke.
