Can anyone recommend a good FREE online classroom website creator? I teach 4th grade and would like to create a website for my class. I looked into teacherweb.com but it cost $27 year. Anything similar but free?

By any definition you want to use, the Boston Tea Party WAS an act of terrorism. Just because these guys were on "our" side doesn't change what it was--and honestly, that's what it was meant to be. Read the Second Amendment, which begins, "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state..." After that comes the "right to bear arms" part that I'm sure is your favorite. If a textbook is giving examples of passages from the Quran, it is not necessarily an endorsement; it is merely stating what the book says. What's wrong with the "increased standard of living" answer? I think the problem is you're not very bright and have very poor reading comprehension skills. You've got your undies in a bunch over things you don't quite understand.

Do you know any html? If you have office you can use Frontpage (or even Word if you wanted) to create a page and maybe your school's technology coordinator can post it to your school's web for free. We are a tiny school - <500 students and our tech person lets us put our webs up.
However, if you need something that will essentially create the page for you, I'm sorry, I am of no help.

No worries anymore when it comes to building a fully functional, up and running website for FREE! along with free domain name too!

Microsoft (free domain and hosting for life) ,
Google (Googlepages, Blogger) ,
Yahoo (Geocities),
Freewebs are some of the companies offering free websites with design tools .

check my profile for a list of websites , all the best :)

There are several good ones. We use www.LifebookNet.com. It is very easy to use and is free. Some people use www.edmodo.com, but I do not like their UI, and seems to be for older students and there is very limited functions for parents. (Parent users are read-only.)
