oh hell, i fight with mine on occasion too. she's my mom...she brought me into this world, she is entitled to a "***** fit" every once in a while.
besides..when your kids get older..wouldn't you want them to continue speaking to ya, i know I'll want my three to cut me some slack in my old age.lol

it depends on what your fight was about but I am guessing that you should speak to your mom when you have calmed down and let her know what exactly it is that upset you in the first place. I used to fight with my mom all the time and I wish that I had chosen to speak with her rationally more often so that we could have a closer relationship now.

My husband and my best friend lost their mothers in their 20's. My mother and I had not spoken in 11 years because I didn't know where she was. When I found out, these two gave me the best advice of my life. You see, I was angry that I didn't know where my own mom was for all that time. I wasn't sure that I should talk to her. They both told me that they would give anything just to be able to hear their mother's voice once more. So, maybe you should listen to that advice. I thank them both for giving it to me. It's been one of the best gifts either has ever given.

Eventually, when you have both cooled down long enough to gain some perspective on whatever it was the two of you were fighting about.

Yes, of course you should. She is your mother. She brought you into this world didn't she? Give her some credit. You may want to take time to yourself though before you do, because nothing good ever comes out of "words in anger". Good luck
