You have a very small human floating inside of you. The motion of the water is probably what gives you the butterflys. Isn't nature wonderful?

i think it is because the baby is not big enough. so its little hands and feet and body just brush up against the inside of you and it feels like butterflies. =]

It just does. I remember when I was pregnant with my first. It was absolutely the most weird thing to feel him moving inside of me. But, over the next months, when he didn't move, it would scare me. You will get use to it, and welcome the "butterflys" when they happen. Congrats!

because babies move in a fluttering way. when my husband and i had an ultrasound, he said our baby look like a flipper (cause the movement looked like a fish).

but you think it feels funny in four months, wait till the baby is nine months....for some reason, all the guys refer to the movie "aliens" when they see my belly move....

Because the baby is so tiny that it is not strong enough for those "kicks" yet.
