okay heres the deal - my parents want to move to australia (i live in new zealand) and its totally gay and they no how much i dont want to go but still want to move because they think it's now or never. it would be perfect cuz ma bros just finishing high school and im just starting year 11 and they know that they cant move when my bro starts uni or when i start senior years cuz it would screw everything up for us. that means that they have this month and 5 more months after that to pack up, sell the house, sell dads buisness (small surgery) and then get there and find a house start jobs and find a uni and school for us. but i really dont want to go so what can i do to slow down the process becuase they dont have a lot of time to do it and so far my dad has been going to lots of meetings with people in hope of selling his buissness off at a reasonably low price, its practically a race any tips???!!!!

Dont be selfish and stupid. There are benefits being in Australia. Ur dad must move there for something better not worst!

NZ and Aus are near! And the cultures are abt the same. So it is ok. Make sacrifices to leave your friends! Contact them using the internet!

You will make more friends in Australia. Trust me. You will hate it at first but will like it later, about 6 months or 1 year later.

Goodluck! Just go! No point delaying. You still have to move to Australia no matter how long you delay because decision has been made and maybe your father had applied for PR in Australia.

What a selfish little skank you are! Why would you sabotage your parents chance at a better life just because you don't want to meet new people. Just how damned selfish are you?Never mind the fact that you can always go back to New Zealand when you want to go to uni. since you are actually a citizen. Why not think of somebody besides yourself foronce, and give your parents a break. I actually thought that only American kids were that selfish and stupid.

hey sounds like ur being a lil selfish, i mean i dont know the whole story or why they want to move. its hard to answer your question without knowing the reason why ur parents want to move. If its for something that means a lot to them I think u should give australia a shot and if there is no way of stopping the move then just try to make the best of it, u never know if u are meant to be there what if u find wut u've always been looking for there. JUST GIVE IT A SHOT!!! and dont be afraid of change somethings is good for you

How about you get over your juvenile attitude and see that you will have a great opportunity in Australia. You can move back to New Zealand if you hate it when you are an adult. Till then do as your parents say you little twerp.

it never hurts to talk to your parents about what you think of the situation. Australia is not that far from New Zealand you can always visit friends/family. Just be open to new things because you only live once. Good luck!

why dont you tell your parents that you dont want to go until you finish high school and maybe you can help your dad with the small surgery so that he wont sell it just yet so that you have more time to finish school and graduate.

if you need more help on this situation email me at TJPee2010@yahoo.com , to either get help or make a new friend

Do you have another relitive in New Zeland that your parents would let you stay with for a year?If not then you will have to act like a grown up and suck it in and do the best you can in your new school and land.
