of course you have to tell him every bit of your ailment so that he can suggest the best possible treatment for you

That's a very good question! Honestly, I'm a very personal person and don't like discussing the most intimate things that happen to my body parts to just anyone (girlfriend excluded).
The doctor needs to know all your symptoms or ailments if he/she is to help you back on the road to recovery. Should it be anything minor, like my asthmatic attacks, a flu, stomach related things, etc... I would tell everything there is to tell. When I comes to my privates I don't like anyone looking or touching (girlfriend exclude again).
It's normal to have that 'fear' cos by nature humans feel insecure about their bodies and are very self conscious.
I'm not so much of both but like everyone else, I wouldn't get caught by the police streaking in town or on the streets!
Cheers!

I do tell my doctor a lot of what is going on. The good thing is I have seen my doctor for 13 years so he can just look at me and tell if I have any concerns without me having to ask him.

It's really hard to get that much time with your physician, they schedule only about 15 minutes to every patient. They only want to see your for your cheif complaint, the reason you made an appointment to begin with, like the flu, a rash, or a checkup. If they allowed patients to spill their guts about every little thing, the physician would only see about 1-4 patients a day, and all the physicians I know are in it for the money. More patients = More $$

You may want to mention to him that you spend almost 24 hours at a strech in front of the computer!

I keep things on a need to know basis - I don't think it's wise to place too much trust in anyone who scribbles down stuff that you never get to read

I have not been able to afford to see a doctor in 8 years.
All my tax money goes for welfare mothers and jail for their babydaddy
