I am wondering if a house sells in Phoenix, Arizona, how long is the typical escrow? Who/what decides how long that escrow is? Does commercial property have a longer escrow? Thank you for any help you can give me.

I live in Arizona and have bought a couple of homes. In my experience the escrow period lasts about as long as it takes the bank to get all the financing and paperwork done. I don't think there is any set timeframe, but in both my cases the escrow period lasted less than a month. I don't know anything about commercial properties having never bought one, but it would seem that it wouldn't matter as long as the paperwork involved is similar.
