Hey-you are happily married and that is great! I don't think you should tell your wife since A.) you say she is the jealous type and B.) the letter really hasn't materialized and most likely will not materialize into something else. I think you should just go about your business and just act as if you did not get a letter.
The person who sent you the letter knows that your wife is out of town. If you down play it or ignore it, you'll reinforce the idea that you're not interested and that itself will speak volumes!
Good luck!

No! Don't tell your wife! Since you have no suspects anyway and your wife is the jealous type, the obvious answer is no, do not tell her. In this case it will do more harm than good. It will only upset her and she may, in turn, accuse you of cheating. How should you react? React the way you feel, then stop dwelling on it. Make sure you either throw the card away or put it in a place where your wife can't find it because if she does, this will even look worse than actually telling her about it. Just know that you have an admirer at your work place and leave it at that.

It is someone from work probably playing with you and they know your wife is out of town. OR the person is serious and trying to provoke a conversation at work to see if you are miserable in your marriage and want to fool around. It could have been mailed by your wife. It would probably be a good idea for you to tell you wife. It will make her feel more secure while she is out of town.

Danger Danger Will Robinson This could be a trick perpetrated by a friend of your wife's to '[test}" your loyalty. Be extremely careful of so called anonymous letters. At best the situation is as described above at worst you could have a stalker. It has been my experience that if a woman desires you they will come right out and make it know to you one way or another.

Why torture her with an anonymous letter! Just take the letter and keep in your work files, cut the niceness at work for some time. Tell your co workeers at work that you are really disappointed that somebody did this, and if there is another such attempt you will file for sexual harassment and solicit an investigation to have this person transfered.
There are laws against this.

because that your spouse the the jealous style, i might want to represent now to not tell her first. ignore concerning the letter and talk in the workplace declaring that some loopy ppl despatched you letter and the content cloth of it. Then factor out also that the man who wrote it might end as you've been luckily married. each and each of the declaring might want to no longer be instantly yet circuitously. with any success there might want to no longer be any more desirable letter. yet when it does, tell your spouse (she will be able to/might want to question you why you by no skill tell her about the first letter)

Do not tell her, do not mention the card to anyone. Back off on the "joking" around a little. Someone you are working with has no morals.

do a handwriting analysis and compare it to some of the girls you work with. If you find a positive match, call her out on it. if you don't, then tell your wife
