YES!!! i've taken singing lessons 4eva and the thing that improves the most is the simple scales. Have someone play up the piano starting high, end low. Sing a few notes on each key. (just basic 'oh oh oh') your voice will drop at some point (Its when your voice breaks) But just keep going. Everyday if you do this scale, you will be able to sing all the way up the piano without your voice breaking! good luck!!

Scales and arpeggios are among the most common warm-up exercises and varying the syllables can help you control your breathing. Make sure to use all the vowel sounds and articulate both hard and soft consonants. Some example patterns are "maw-may-mee-mow-moo," "bumblebee-bumblebee" a total of four times, or "mah-mah-mah-mah-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha" in a descending scale and laughing on the same pitch at the end. Something else to try might be glissandos which are where you slide from one pitch to another and back. This is normally done over the break in your voice so you can find the space between your head and chest voices and work at easing the transition between the two. Then there are breathing exercises, for example, breathe in for eight seconds and out for 20 on "sss" or "ooo" or "mmm." Most importantly, relax, smile, and have fun!

The best thing you should do is find a good voice teacher. If you are still in school, ask your music teacher for a referral. If you don't know anyone, check with a local piano teacher or live theatre for suggestions.

ok before u sing, u have to open up ur voice. to do that u should do some basic stuff like singing C,D,E,F,G,A,B then back again.u no, and like go thro it over again with different shape of ur mouth . try to um relax ur vioce. U do this thing which i cant really describe, it's like u close ur mouth and relax, then u blow out so ur lips like bounces( IT;S REAL IMPORTANT ). OO and don't drink really COLD water. and um u should sing trying to open ur jaw.

just like any other physical activity, you need to stretch. do your scales with different mouth activities.

mee may mah mo mew
paa paa paa paa paa
how now brown cow

these few and you should see a coach for help.

sing C, E, G, (on the piano) then go up a half step and keep going like that. say, "Ha ha ha" or "Hee hee hee" or something like that.
