Why isn't this guy being treated like they treat your typical Black or Hispanic criminal?

Dont worry! IF he is found guilty he will be treated like a biatch in prison!
His skin color has nothing to do with it, it is the case history and the years of tabloids using the story!

This man voluntarily returned to the US which means he agreed and paid for it himself. He clearly thinks he is going to be put away for a long time and probably had some savings he wouldn't get to use otherwise.
I think the whole thing is a tragedy. He sounds insane, frankly and very sad - and the fact that JonBenet's mother died this past June is really horrible. I can't decide if she died after this John Mark Karr contacted her or if it was somehow one last kick in the pants that she never got to see the killer brought to justice. Those people suffered disgrace and tragedy I don't even want to imagine. I wish these people would find some peace.

Karr got his culture shock . The sheriff says he won't be treated like a celebrity now. He has already been photographed in his jail blues and he shows no signs of having a champagne glass anywhere nearby .

Ahh...- Methinks you're blaming the wrong people. The MEDIA are hunting this story, NOT the authorities. Never mind that people are dying in Iraq, or Lebanon- or everything ELSE is going down the drain, the JBR story is a cheap "fix" for TV & the newspapers- so they can get good ratings or make alot of $$$ off it. And as long as they GET that, it doesn't matter WHO killed JBR...- WE'RE the ones getting bamboozled.

in my opinion i'm,yet there are a tremendous element of folk who thrive on something like that as a results of a lack of something exciting of their own lives,or finally sense an invisible connection with celebrities.oftentimes an same those who stay round cleansing soap operas...

If he screws up and admits something he was never in custody he was being "escorted". He paid for whatever he purchased not us
