I'm on the pill, but for some reason now I'm getting signs of pregnancy--breast tenderness, nausea, hungry all the time, and even feelin light-headed lately. I technically could be pregnant because hubby and I have had sex frequently. Should I invest in the pregnancy test? Does it work accurately even if you're on the pill? Anyone else gotten pregnant while on the pill?

yes u could be pregnant. yes the test will work accurately if you're on the pill. i got pregnant while on the pill, i'm currently two months. i took a test a couple days after my missed period which turned out positive. so just take a chance with one. if it comes out negative just test again a week later if u still think u are. i had to do the same, but took them a couple days apart. it could be too early to tell on the test if it comes out negative, so don't give up right away. always try again. good luck

No I was on the pill and the preg test came up positive. Pregnancy tests are looking for a specific hormone - hcg- that the body only produces if you are in fact pregnant. Being on the pill will have no bearing on the results. That being said if you suspect pregnancy do NOT keep taking the pills

yes a test will work if you are on the pill. many people have gotten pregnant on the pill. that's why it is only 99% effective. Although if you just went on the pill some of those symptoms may be caused from the pill. Go get tested.

a test will work if you are on the pill. i have never gotten pregnant when i was on the pill, but i have heard stories that there is a possiblity. I would go out and buy a pregnancy test.

Yes, you can take the test while on the pill.
The home tests work best if you've missed a period, so wait and see if you miss the next one.

I was on the pill and now I have a daughter. So YES you can get pregnant while on the pill. Go get checked.

if u think u are pregnant then stop[ taking the pill becasue it could harm the baby. and some home test dont work so make an appt at the doctor and find out

Ive never been on the pill, but there is always a chance. Nothing is 100% effective except no sex at all. I would invest if I were you.

hey its highly impossiible if ur on pill and u get preg...as condoms can leak and tear but pills will let the semen enter ur ovary....so its very rare case which ur talking about...as i always say GF to use pills if i m no mood to use condoms...its safe ...still u can contact a gynic...iif required if u have some hickups iin ur mind
