If it's an LCD screen, then I dont know, BUT, if it's a CRT screen, it's because of this:
The image on the screen is created by beams of negatively charged electrons hitting the back of the screen. These electrons can be affected by other electromagnetic waves such as microwaves.
Your phone emitts microwaves when it rings or makes a call, and these microwaves will be effecting the electrons as they move, so instead of travelling in a straight line (like they should) the beam jumps around, which causes your screen to move around.

hmm... ok.. I am not sure what you mean here. I have seen
- my speakers pick up the static a couple of seconds before the mobile rings
- I have seen my CRT monitor dance infront of a magnet
- However, I havent yet seen my monitor dance when my mobile rings. But putting the two together, I would guess that your mobile creates a magenetic/electric field that affects your computer screen.. but that sounds a bit farfetched.
Either way, I would advise you to keep your mobile a few feet away from your computer at all times.

It is due to the radio frequency waves from the mobile service tower coming to your set interfering with the high magnetic field of the monitor of the computer.

The same thing happens to me and everyone else. I believe it's due to some sort of interference of the frequency that the cell phone emits when ringing, which interupts the PC. a easy question to answer... its due to frequency from the phone and the crt monitor (or LCD) you see you shouldn't put something thats eletronicial near the monitor, have it far away from it... computer speakers and stuff are okay because they are part of your computer... but a LCD shouldnt flicker... if its a CRT monitor then it will because its older you can buy a LCD or a CRT thats new and it wont do that....(you can lower the frequency of the monitor though...which i would advise not to...because the manufacture sets it so its not harmful to your eyes)

Some older monitors may have interference with wireless objects....Need more info about problem.
