I loved That's the Way it Is (I bought the special edition a couple of years ago), but didn't really care for Harem Scarum. They couldn't have shown something like King Creole or Blue Hawaii.

Ya i saw they were showing an elvis movie! And i wondered if they were having an elvis weekend! i watched some of it i started watching in the middle! but i have seen all his movies and have heard all his songs and watched old news and show footage of him. and i own his greatest hits cd! and am going to get the 30 #'1's cd's soon!

I grew up with my mum totally adoring the King. She didn't care for his movies, but I do.
I remember she adored him so much that when I was a kid I used to think you couldn't name your kid Elvis, like you can't name your kid Jesus(as in Christ) ;)
Went to Elvis week, and it rocked, it was cool to see the Kings home and his cars and planes.
On VH-1 they used to show 2 movies in their movies that rock deal ..
They were about Elvis, one with Kurt Russell and one with Dale Midcaff playing him. Both did a very good job.
A lot of channels used to play Elvis films, but not so much anymore. Maybe for his bday in Jan...
