First off,I would make Edge break up with Lita, then I would make him lose the title to a deserving wrestler like shelton or carlito if the fans don't like that then i will let the title change hands.I'll give bobby lashley a shot at the world heavyweight championship in a triple threat match that would be king booker vs batista vs lashley(this match would not be planned or cheorograph) then I'll make matches and not cheorograph them so that ppl would not say that wrestling is planned out.Umaga will feud with kane.I got plenty more storylines but i'm lazy to type them,it would probabaly take me a few hours to write what i have planned.

Jeff Hardy goes to Raw, starts to fued with Edge and eventully beats him for the title. Matt Hardy comes back to Smackdown and Batista after winning the title turn heel, Matt fueds with Batista and wins the title, they eventully get bored saying no one is extream enough for them and eventully start attacking each other on their repective shows pulling bigger and badder stunts. Then Jeff turns heel and says he is the better Hardy brother and leads to a fued with them eventully putting both titles on the line at Wrestlemania 23 in a 2 out of 3 falls match. The first match is a regular match with Jeff Hardy getting a school boy pin on Matt. The second match is a table match with Matt Hardy doing a sick swanton of a ladder onto Jeff through the table. The last and final match(obviously) is a ladder match. Jeff will be at the top of the ladder with a ladder set up diaganaly and Matt runs up the ladder spearing Jeff off and grabbing the titles as he falls, thus unifing the 2 titles and then Matt and Jeff hugging and celebrating together as the ppv goes off the air...

Well, I think you know what the problem with WWE is, right?
It's too big, too much a big business, and too many of their "big names" are crippled birds, borderline para- and quadruplegics courtesy of repeatedly broken backs and necks that *forbid* them and anyone else from doing *anything* special in the ring. Really, that "pattern wrestling" from the late 1990s wasn't invented to entertain the fans, it was made to make it all *safe and predictable* so Stone Cold and Company could stay out of the wheelchair...
But...having said all that. :) You want a storyline. I'll give you one. But trust me, it will be too weird to *ever* air.
Someone invades. But not just anyone. This person has been around before, and for years was both a talented high-flyer, one of the best...and a huge favorite with the fans, seemingly no matter *what* he did. And truthfully, it got to him. The pressure, of having the perfect solo career, of having his every movement watched....it made him crazy.
It made him do some of the dumbest things of his life, pissing everyone off around him. And that as they say, was a few years ago...
He'd make a comeback as himself....but everyone hates him now, he's a joke, a freak, the wrestler's Michael Jackson, only without the plastic surgery.
And he hates this...he hates what he's done to his life, to himself.
But most importantly....he hates the game. Note the lowercase, I am talking about the system here. He hates it that the suck-ups with all the broken necks get all the money and all the pops while real talent has to scrap to get by...never mind that for all he knows that it has *always* been like this, he still hates it.
So what does he do? He learns submission grappling. He learns the most vicious, sadistic, *barred* moves in existence, to add to his game....and he wears a mask, to mock his prey.
He is the Marionette. The puppet of fate. The perpetual asskisser, clown, entertainer, breakdancing for the ladies out back in the parking lot for nickels and dimes, anything to get in close to the action, closer, closer....
So he can stalk the ones he *blames* for shutting him out. Your Stone Colds. Your Kurt Angles. Your "legends" who get by in spite of having enough injuries to kill a dinosaur.
He stalks them. With every intention of *crippling* his prey out on the concrete, so badly that they *have to quit*. It almost doesn't matter whether he *gets to* anyone or not, just show what he is doing, show the intent....and maybe sacrifice *one* of the Broken Neck Club to him just to show that he *is* in fact serious.
Creepy? Hell yes, which is why WWE will NEVER do it.
But consider. Benoit *willfully* broke Sakuraba's neck. On purpose. It could have ruined his career, almost did in fact. But in the end, in the long haul, it made him *credible*. It made him believable in a business where *nobody* is believable.
Edit/Update: Ok, I guess this is what I get for believing wrestling fans can be smart people--I get proven wrong.
I was babbling on about a Jeff Hardy comback up there, though it could, with some tweaking, work for Brock Lesnar (shooting star press anyone?) or hell, even Justin Credible....
But yeah, I'm lame, looking for something subtle and smart on a pro-wrasslin' show, what was I thinking?? :P

If it were me, FIRST OFF....I would DUMP this WHOLE Smackdown and Raw Crap...It would be one damn thing as it used to be. Then, I would strip the Heavyweight Championship(s) and make it one unified title again. Then....( me personally ), I love tournaments. It would go like this:
1) A Lottery: Every Wrestlers name in a Bowl. ( Smackdown in one, Raw in another )
2) A Seperate Bowl with "types of matches" in it. ( ie: Ladder, Submission, First Blood, Lumberjack, Cage, etc. )
3) A RAW person is drawn and a SMACKDOWN person is drawn.
4) Then a "Type of Match" is drawn.
5) Winner of that Match goes on to the Title Tournament
This happens week after week until you narrow down to a Title Match.
3)

I would make a lot more specialty matches..cage, hell in cell, tlc, ect..
I mean they hardly ever have them now..and if they do its on PPV.
It was much better in the 90's..i remember seeing all kinds of special matches on raw.
also, i would get rid of smackdown..thats not really a storyline, actually none of this is lol but thats what i would do.

For the men: the wrestling would have to be 4 times as much total time as the talk. Too much posing and "I'm the king of the world" BS.
For the women: everytime a diva won, she would have to get even bigger implants (if she had them) (we love you, Stacy Keiber) - bigger and bigger until their chests look like the deck guns of a battleship. Everytime a diva lost, she would be forced to lose ONE implant. THAT would make great theatre.
