Most common reason for bruxism (teeth grinding) is stress related. It happens to me when I have allot of things going on in my life. But there can be other causes - allergies, drugs etc.

There are many reasons but I know that my 4 year old grits his teeth because of his allergies. His allergist told me that it is common in people with "Environmental Allergies"

Stress, too much sugar or caffine, an uneven bite or a crossbite. TMJ problems.

im a chronic teeth grinder...i wish i could help it...im thinking that its stress related. i chew through mouth guards monthly...
