If you're refering to Cena being booed tonight in Boston. Boston isn't his hometown, Newberry is his hometown. It's like when Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero (RIP) had a match in Los Angeles and Eddie was getting all the cheers while Rey got some boos. Rey's hometown is San Diego. Although they're both in California they're not the same city just like Boston and Newberry. Any ways, the only wrestler I can think of that got booed in his hometown was Edge (Toronto) on his first Pay-Per-View back from his injury about 2 years ago. Before that event he was a face, but after that happend little by little he became a heel.

For the GR8 One...Although Cena did not actually grow up or actually live in the city of Boston it is still his "hometown" since that is the major city in the state that would have an arena to host an event. I am from Mass. They arent gonna have a freckin wrestling event in West Newbury. West Newbury is a small hick town. What are they gonna have a PPV at his high school gym? So yes that was his hometown BOOING him...including me. I was at SummerSlam

Well, I've been watching wrestling for 20 years (since I was 10) and I don't remember a wrestler (good/friend) being "booed" by anyone or his hometown, it was the very fist time that I witnessed that kind of phenomenon.

WWE - the TV show(s) - are getting pretty lame. They are merely pimp productions for their PPVs. You should stop watching it. That's the only way it is going to improve.
