I really am looking into a used G35 coupe, but most right now in my price range have too many miles on them. If Infiniti releases a resdesigned G35 for 2007, I think that some 03's and 04's will appear on the market...is Infiniti doing this for 07? Thank you.

G'day Texan997,

Thanks for your question.

It seems so. The G35 range was originally rumored to be replaced by a 3.7 L "G37", but the official unveiling of the 2007 model at the 2006 New York Auto Show remained at 3.5 L and kept the G35 name. Power is stated as 306hp by Infiniti, and the 2007 will hit the showroom in the fall of 2006.

I have attached some sources for your reference.

I hope that this helps you.

Regards

Yes they will be releasing new G35's for 2007. Although I am kind of disappointed in the way they new coupes are going to look. The 2007 sedans are much nicer looking than the 2007 coupes. Just my opinion but if you want a coupe I'd get the current body style. And if you wait a few more months until the new ones come out you will be able to pick up an 06 or older even cheaper since it will then be considered the old body.

Infiniti assures us that it’s all new, but from some angles the new G35 doesn’t look it. Built on a modified and second-generation version of the current FM architecture that underpins the 2006 G35, Nissan 350Z, and Infiniti FX45, the refreshed platform will likely boast the typical increases in structural rigidity and weight. Under the hood is a revised VQ-series 3.5-liter V-6 that Infiniti says is 80 percent new, and although final figures are not yet available, it should put out at least 300 horses. A new interior promises to right the wrongs of the previous-generation’s plasticky look. We expect Infiniti to hold the line on pricing as the G35 is an outstanding value in the crowded $30,000-sports-sedan segment. Look for the new G35 in showrooms this fall.

Yes and no. Infiniti is releasing a totally redesigned G35 Sedan in a few months as a 2007 model. The G35 Coupe won't be redesigned for another year or so.
