there has been less speculation of bermuda shorts over the summer for girls. it seems like the minis had put bermuda shorts back in its place. i don't know if it is me or a lot of girls are just not opting that look this season. are bermuda shorts popular where you live and if so, do you like it?

It may be because I'm older but I have always liked, and preferred bermuda shorts. I think they are much more attractive than minis. You don't have to try to show as much skin as possible to look nice. These are my personal preferences but I have seen girls look nice in shorter shorts also. I have never dressed for the status quo because I always felt better doing my own thing so I really don't know whats in 'style'. I wear what I think looks nice on me, and for my age group. There's nothing worse than seeing a much older person trying to get away with wearing a much younger look. They look ridiculous, and not as young as they think. I wish more women whould go back to wearing bermuda shorts. I will.

I live in Los Angeles and they are very popular. Try and buy anything else at Old Navy. I love Bermuda shorts and always have. They are tighter than they used to be when I was younger. The brown and pink plaid is my favorite.

Yah, they were supposed to be "in," but i think the sluts, coincedentially the people who buy all the clothes, liked the mini shorts better. However, I wear my Bermuda shrorts quite a bit, and get compliments from lots of people. Maybe they're just scared to wear them cuz they see not too many other people are.
And it is worth noting that wearing them WOULD give you an evil tan line, hardly beach-worthy!

Um, bermuda shorts aren't really that big over here in Detroit....but then again, I do live in the more "diverse" part of Detroit (aka the ghetto part). I guess bermuda shorts just aren't that popular anymore...

I have two pairs of bermuda shorts and wear them when I feel the need.
I wear what I want, when I want regardless of fashion and trends. I know what I can get away with and go for it.
