It stupid that weed is considered a schedule I type drug when their are obviously medical benefits in smoking such delicious tastey smoke.

It's also stupid that it is illegal to grow the hemp that our constitution and money is printed on.
Anything that the little guy can make a real living from is illegal or regulated so much that it seems so.

Do you have any idea how many guards and lawyers and judges and politicians would be out of work if that became law? This is a free country and we have freely decided to lock up harmless people who are not harming or bothering other people because irrelevant total strangers disapprove of how they conduct their private lives. The people love paying $40,000 per year per inmate for all of our free country's 2,500,000 prisoners--thats the population of Chicago! Like they say, freedom isn't free.

It's a Schedule I because people abuse it...making it a lower schedule would just create a mess of druggies who want their "fix" and abuse the medical system. I work in a pharmacy and it's really aggravating to see people getting prescriptions for painkillers every couple weeks...AHHHH it makes me mad!!!
