gaining money is one of the aims. to get a better education at the university is another aim. and sometimes since there are no jobs for them in their own country, they get there to get a job. but of course they do all this to improve their living condition. and gaining freedom is another reason. because in some countries people can not express their opinions freely, and the they think in the u.s they can have more freedom of speech and action they go there.

No. Some come to America for Higher Education, some for a better life, and some to make a good living. Many people come to America because of its allure, the same people who in some countries calls for it's death, when they see it, they want to stay and live in it. Some others they want to make it there own, and change it from what it is to Islam country, these people some of them they want to change the White House, to Muslims House. So many reasons, but in the end they want to be in America.
Money, Education, life, so many reasons, money is not the only one, but it could be considered the major factor.

I think to make money is just the icing on the cake. I would not want to live anywhere else but in North America - I would assume there are alot of people who wish this also. You can make yourself happy, safe and rich, not many other countries allow this to happen so easy.

I can only answer for myself :) : NO, we want to move to America because we want to see your beautiful country. My dream has always been to ride a Harley Davidson down Route 66, but I am willing to compromise - a BMW will also do. I have a list. (this is NO BULL) It is the things I want to do before I die and a few things I want to do happens to be in America. Who knows? I might like it and stay. :)

No. Most come because they are needlessly harrassed in their home countries. Immigration from El Salvador, for example, began during the civil war there...

To have better lives, which includes - among other things, like freedom - to make money, but not to make money like you put it!
