Books!
The best toy there is, when they're not playing origami and making confetti take the time to READ to them. Dr. Seuss and Elmo are great, but read adult books too. Children develop a vocabulary from their environment. If all they hear is blah-blah-goo-goo, that's all they know.

Scissors. Scissors and an electrical outlet. He'll learn that the world is a dangerous place at an early age and he'll learn what not to do. Think how ahead of the curve he'll be. And matches! A nice big box of matches, the wooden kind, not those flimsy paper kind that the hooker leaves on my nightstand. And glass. Thin, breakable glass. Pennies... don't forget the pennies, though dimes are easier to swallow.

Toys don't make kids smarter. Human interaction does that. Telling the child about the world around him will make him smart as a whip. Asking what shapes he sees in the clouds, asking him what colors he'd paint between the stripes of a zebra, and why does a drop of chocolate syrup turn the milk brown, but a drop of milk doesn't turn chocolate syrup white? Those things will make him smarter.

And guns. Small caliber weapons at first, 'cause, you know, he's little.

There are many books and videos out now that are very educational for little ones. You can find them for a decent price at Wal Mart or similar stores in the electronic section. The best way to improve a baby's IQ is to teach it things yourself and do a lot of reading to it.

I paintings in an early childhood ed container and that i've got considered a good number of infants in my 12 years in it! the nice and comfortable button is that your daughter will circulate- she would have the ability to no longer sit down continuously- she'll do it whilst she's waiting! a good number of infants bypass issues like rolling and crawling and bypass on the instant to a minimum of a few thing else. as long as she's healthful and the PT reported that this is in basic terms a count of weak spot then do no longer concern approximately it. this is stressful whilst it is your toddler and you % them to do issues that "timelines" say they might desire to be doing....yet think of approximately it, it won't count as quickly as she's strolling and no person will ever comprehend that she became into "suffering" at 10-a million/2 mos. good success, you sound like a great mom!

Baby Einstein makes videos, books and such. But word of advice, just enjoy your baby now, don't rush it. They grow up too quickly as it is.
