You can sopt during pregnancy, however, you should call your OB and go in right away to check for miscarriage. If your wife starts to bleed, such that a pad is soaked front to back in less than an hour, get to the ER or hospital right away so she does not bleed to death.
Most Ob's offices have a trauma nurse on duty you can talk to her, and give her your specific symptoms.
Good luck

Hello Chuck,
Please try and keep your wife calm, be cool yourself, Go to the nearest emergency room and seek medical attention right away. You may also want to call an ambulance so they can start checking her vitals and report it to the awaiting doctor on call. Then call her OB/GYN and have him or her call the hospital so he or she can give some medical history on your wife.
I'll pray for you three.
Regards,
Rayleneâ¥

This is a question you should ask your doctor. If you can't get a clear answer, change doctors. In the meantime, I'd advise your wife to stay off her feet.

I think you should take her to the hospital or her doctor for internal exam. She might have a miscarriage or a water break or anything but dont delay it. Call her Doctor on Call. This might be something serious.

This is not the place to direct your question, ring the hospital and ask the triage nurse or maternity ward. best wishes.

She's probably just spotting.
But to be sure she doesn't get a miscarriage, take her to a doctor pronto!
