If your furniture is in decent condition & still usable, try having a yard sale, place 3 X 5 inch cards up at the local grocery store and there is also something online that is really good, too. The link is: www.craigslist.com and doesn't matter what state you live in, there's something for everyone and to my knowledge, it is free advertising. Sold my mobile home through it! Took only a week.
