its hard to afford a good lawyer and fathers often do get screwed in these types of cases. i dont live in houston so i dont know any specific lawyers but contact legal aide or even local law schools, they have third years that could probably give you good advice or proof any documents if the legal aide thing doesnt work out.
If none of these options appeal to you, contact the larger law firms in your area and ask if they will do your case pro bono...im pretty sure it can be used as a tax write off. good luck

First of all you need a paternity test to determine if the child is really yours. Any matter that goes before the court you can do yourself. A judge will want to make sure of paternity and then if the child is yours will set the support based on what you earn.

Instead of looking for free legal services, hire a lawyer who'll agree to take your case and file a countersuit that will cover all costs of litigation. The lawyer would have to win to get paid.
But suck it up and pay child support if the kid is yours.

you need to ask for a DNA check to make sure it's your kid. if it is established that it is your child you owe. you then have right to petition the court for visitation and or custody. this kid must be very confused that the man he thought was daddy is not. the poor kid is the one that suffers in this situation.
