After how many days, after abortion, should you get your period?

a friend of mine had an abortion. She is wondering how long it should take until she gets regular periods again.

Usually, the period returns about 4 weeks after the abortion. And, even if she was regular before the abortion, it may take 6-24 months after the abortion before her hormones return to normal so she may not be regular again for up to 24 months.

Also, if she had unprotected sex about 2 weeks after the abortion, she could get pregnant again without ever even having a period!
