you can use anti spyware software or antivirus software but most likely you won't be able to remove it. if it is within the recent month follow these steps for a removal, then consult a technician. (I'm assuming u are using wndows and IE, and you are the administrator), you can also try restoring your system back a year or 2.
1) clear your internet cache and history and go offline
2) open windows search box (start>search)
3)set criteria to search for all programs installed in the past month.
4) after search is finish, look for applications that do not have a valid windows description or some wierd filenames with no publishers (ex: QWJLKEJL1123.exe)
write down all those suspect programs and their locations on a piece of paper (ex: QWIEUOIU1123.exe, documents and settings, Folder A)
5)create a system restore point
6)restart your com in safe mode (selectable by pressing F8 while booting up)
7) find and delete all those programs.
8)reboot into normal mode, open Run in Windows (Start>Run)
9)type regedit and press open
10) click on view>FInd
11) type in the names off the prgrams on your suspect list and click find next.
12)delete all the highlighted entry and click find next (edit>find next)
13)repeat process until no more matches are found.
I hope that will help you with your problem. Please keep in mind that this is digging deep into your system and may cause it to crash. Your safest bet is to back up all important data and reformat.
Hope that helped.

Ok, you must have browsed a site. . .which planted spyware on your PC.
DOnt worry it is fixable. . .i was there a few months ago. First of all download a copy of "Hijack this" http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.h...
& also get ur hands on Spybot Search & Destroy
http://www.safer-networking.org/...
then, reboot in safe mode. Run S&D, delete the Unwanted Registery keys,
then run Hijack this. & see if there is any BHO's that u dont approve. delete those. this should help restore it back to normal.
P.S Windows Defender sux, AG Grissoft Free version is full of Adware, . .it didnt catch the things Spybot S&D caught.

Try Microsoft Antispyware, or i think the name changed to microsoft defender (http://www.download.com/Microsoft-Windows-AntiSpyware/3000-8022_4-10353597.html). It's free to have and use, and will detect and then show you what spyware and adware its found so it can then delete it. You can (and should) set it to scan your computer daily, but because it slows down the computer a little bit while its running, i always set mine to scan around 3 am, when i wasnt at the computer. Hope this helps.
