i am getting alot of popups for spyware protection and i can not figure out how to get it to stop. i was wondering if there is a way to delete it off my computer. it is getting so bad i cant get on it. if you know how to delete it please help

Ok, you must have browsed a site. . .which planted spyware on your PC.
DOnt worry it is fixable. . .i was there a few months ago. First of all download a copy of "Hijack this" http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.h...
& also get ur hands on Spybot Search & Destroy

then, reboot in safe mode. Run S&D, delete the Unwanted Registery keys,
then run Hijack this. & see if there is any BHO's that u dont approve. delete those. this should help restore it back to normal.
P.S Windows Defender sux, AG Grissoft Free version is full of Adware, . .it didnt catch the things Spybot S&D caught.

Spybot - Search & Destroy
Microsoft windows defender
download these and scan and remove, scan 2 times with each program, my preference scanning for me but once is fine for you
use firefox not internet explorer, ie has alot of security isses

Look in your add/remove programs list in your control panel. If you know the program causing the problem you can highlight it and remove it.
