I would hang up. A real friend would understand that they shouldn't call you in the middle of the night. Unless they have something interesting to talk about. You don't call someone in the middle of the night to chat.

If the friend called to chat I would talk. I'm up anyways so why not.
Besides any friend that called me then would more and likely have a problem or need help. So hanging up is not an option. If you really didn't want to talk then turn off the ringer and let the answering machine get it.

That depends on my mood! I mean I wouldn't be completely rude or anything, but if my friend had no genuine need to talk and all they wanted to do was just chat then I would probably as politley as I could say I can't talk right now I really need to get some sleep or something like that.

If they woke me up in the middle of the night to 'chat', I'd tell them to go to bed and call me in the morning. I don't think a real friend would do that to me. If it was important though, I would of course talk to them.

I don't have any friends, so if anyone called me in the middle of the night claiming to be my friend and wanting to chat I'd tell them to shove off.

Yes, for a little while, and then I'd tell he/she that I'll call them later during the day. If it was an emergency, or if he/she were having a
personal problem, I would talk as long as they needed to talk.

I will sure Chat with him/her.. Cause Friend in need is Friend in Deed... One or the other day I will sure call him or her in the night when i'm Bugged up... tht time he will answer me... God Bless u

Probably because they would have to have a really good reason to call me in the middle of the night. Most likely something bad or they're feeling bad.
