i am getting alot of popups for spyware protection and i can not figure out how to get it to stop. i was wondering if there is a way to delete it off my computer. it is getting so bad i cant get on it. if you know how to delete it please help

Ok, you must have browsed a site. . .which planted spyware on your PC.
DOnt worry it is fixable. . .i was there a few months ago. First of all download a copy of "Hijack this" http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.h...
& also get ur hands on Spybot Search & Destroy

then, reboot in safe mode. Run S&D, delete the Unwanted Registery keys,
then run Hijack this. & see if there is any BHO's that u dont approve. delete those. this should help restore it back to normal.
P.S Windows Defender sux, AG Grissoft Free version is full of Adware, . .it didnt catch the things Spybot S&D caught.

hi, adware is a disgusting and infamous virus. perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.
i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

get lavasoft adaware and spybot search and destroy, these are free programs and they work great, i use them when i fix pc's
