I'm under the impression that WWE is fading with time, is it because Vince is getting older? The 80's where damn amazing! The 90's where amazing specialy with the Monday Nights Wars (WCW vs WWE) Nitro vs RAW
Today, it really suck! They must do something about it! TNA will take advantage of that! And that must be a good thing, Vince will finaly got some real competition and have no choice to improve his WWE promo's! Just like WCW start of nothing but they've grow and grow enought to be a giant like WWE! WE never know what can happen.

Obviously the late 90's were a lot better. Anyone who says that today is better is either retarded or most likely not a REAL wrestling fan. Wrestling today sucks. All Vince cares about is keeping the stock price high. Thats why guys like John Cena remain on top. He moves merchandise and that brings in more profits but everyone knows he sucks. The worst thing was WWF buying out WCW and then WWF going public. Like I said, all Vince cares about is keeping the stock price up, which, technically, is what a public companys goal should be.

The competitiveness between WCW and WWF made WWF a lot better. I jus recently watch some 1999 RAW episodes and truely remembered how good it was and entertaining it was compared to now. Its lacking a serious value without the competition to keep it hot. TNA certainly isnt a contender to be concidered competition to WWE at the moment, and it never will be, so TNA fanboys can forget that. Its jus the way it is. The pressure is 100% off. Plus back then they didnt have nickelodeon and soap opera writers working for them all of the sudden.

I would go with the late 80's and 90's because at that time wrestling was more real than today, There were more non scripted matches than that of today... And speaking of today i don't know where the wwe is headed too.

Now - athletes are in better shape. Story lines are simplified and realistic. Mr. McManon has a decent role. Matchups are credible and exciting. A big improvement from the late 90's.
