I am breastfeeding my three month old exclusively, and my periods have not returned. I experienced very light spotting for a few hours one week exactly after sex. Not sure what it is but wondering if it could be implantation spotting. Took a pregnancy test four days after the spotting but it was neg. Was it to soon to test? or does it have something to do with my period returning?

Could be either or. I would say to use protection just in case though. For implantation bleeding that happens 6-10 days after fertilization and that can cause some spotting and it would still take another week maybe longer to get a positive on a test. I would wait another wk or maybe 2 and then retest. Or it could be your period tryn to start. Good luck and congrats on your new arrival.

It is possible that it was implantation bleeding. If it was, then you tested too early. I'd wait two more weeks and test again for a definite answer.

Hope you get the answer you're hoping for.

you may desire to easily be bleeding via fact your hymen broke, and those cramps are indicating that your era on its way. yet, opportunities are high you have been unlucky; take a attempt, and if it rather is detrimental and you nevertheless have the indicators, wait until eventually the date your era's due. in case you pass over the date via 3 or greater days, it's time to work out a doctor. USE secure practices !!!!! :)
