My mind is the harmonics and the body is the instrument. My soul is the musician. And the inspiration is the world. Do ya get me? I hardly understand myself either. Basicly i use my dody as a finely tuned instrument to filter my minds power which is filled with my soul's energy. I try not to interfere with this energy too much as in its natural state i feel it leans toward the beneficial rather than the detrimental. The mind is like a tap, the water the energy flowing through the mind focussing it, the bath is my body delivering it to the world in warmth and welcome.
And in feeling things it works the equal and yet opposite way. I feel it with the senses of my whole body, fine tune it with the reason of my mind, and channel it constuctively back into my soul (but not sure if the soul is another thing or a complete of the whole self at the point where it touches the world).
In harmony these things we call self work better and pick up the world in greater clarity, even reaching out into the world to probe and sense and investigate and change.
This is making no sense to me, i'm just writing whats coming STRAIGHT to my mind regarding your question.

I think that the human body takes the body and when the nerves touch something a electrical pulse is sent to your brain. Afterwards your brain interprets the pattern and pulls it all together and then puts out a reaction to all parts of the body. So I would say you feel more with your mind than your body. Your mind is the one that does the thinking, while your body is just a reciever of reaction intructions.

Here is an interesting thought.
It has been noted that your body will sometimes react to certain stimulus (such as pain) without involving cognitive function (so without the brain)
For example when you step on a sharp object you pull your foot away before the pain reaches your brain thus it is believed that it is only the spinal column doing the work of actually pulling your foot away which in turn means it is making higher order functions on it's own.

I have always been very connected to my mind but I had to learn to feel with my body, now I understand that this is why I became a dancer. I think many people in our society suffer from this because we are taught that the body is evil.

I sense with my mind, and then express it through my body...and then it becomes a sensuous experience. Someone has to reach me through my mind first...then touch my heart...before my body does the rest...and it becomes a harmonious thing...fully engaged on all levels...and truly a thing of beauty...often reaching out to my spirit or soul. "Mind, heart, body...and soul." What could be more perfect...or complete... than that?

I have the "gut feeling." I don't know if that would be considered body or mind. More often than not my gut is right. If I ignore it and go against my better judgement, I'm usually sorry...

Physical and mental feelings have got different applicability with the mental feelings remaining for ever, but physical feelings vanished with the passage of time.

Everything comes in contact with your body first, your mind stimulates it right after.

There are many things we can't feel with our body, nor our mind. I use my heart.

Inside we are the same, a human being.
It depends on what you are sensing....
