If anyone has ANY suggestions... My husband (wasn't THINKING) and he started to 'iron' this REALLY nice suite he got from Brazil... the MOMENT the iron touched the suit, it BURNT! It's a burn the size of maybe the palm of ones hand... but it looks like the iron pulled the fabric and somehow burnt a bit of it together... TOTALLY ruining the suite... does ANYONE have an SOLUTION or help for what we can do to at least make it smooth or fix it? My husband is HITTING himself over the head because he KNOWS they should be drycleaned... but he was DESPERATE to get few wrinkles out of it... It is a small patch on the right corner of the suite a bit below the pocket... it seems to be a sort of 'pin stripped' type.. but VERY nice fabric... it didn't have any cleaning instructions... If ANYONE has a solution... I will take ANY suggestions!! Just PLEASE 'be nice'.. my husband feels ridiculous enough to have done this... he starts a new job tomorrow! Please help, thank you so much

A good tailor might be able to do a respectable job fixing it, but I don't think there is anything you can do at home. Next time, be sure to check the setting on the iron to make sure it's not too hot for the fabric.

Wear a difrent suit. I dont know of ANY way to repair damage like this. A drycleaner or tailor might though. Check w/ the local shops in your area.

aww. okay. first of all, can you sew? coz i would suggest moving the pockets down. take the thread out with a seam ripper and sew it lower. thats a totally understandable thing to do. another thing you can do is put a pin over it. something that isnt too strange. but maybe a larg pin on the pocket that sort of covers over the bottom. or you can stick a button there, so that it looks like a decoration.

Whatever you do...just don't let him near an iron anymore. I know you said "be nice" but the devil made me do it. OK, take the suit to the cleaners and see if they can repair it somehow.

take it 2 the drycleaner n buy a steamer found that they work best

oh, man,.... I am thinking,.... don't think there is anything yoiu can do,.......borrow one? ,....um,......wear just a shirt and tie?,.....go in naked with just a grin,...then NO one will notice the burn!!

HI THERE I DONT THINK YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO REPAIR IT BUT I THINK YOUR BEST BET WOULD BE A DRY CLAENER..
