I love the book "Tell Me Your Dreams". About a girl with multiple personality disorder and one of the personality's kills her lovers. SO, shes put on trial and at the end of the book they figure out that her father used to rape her and he seemed like such an honest man. Anyway, thats just a small summary, try reading it, its really good.

The Day After Forever= by Erin Skiffington.
It's about a young guy that's dying of cancer(bone marrow), he journeys with his mates and the new girl to the place where his parents died coz he wanted to die there.
It was such a lovely book, but the fact that it was written by a 14 year old is trully amazing.

your right that was an excellent book.
as my personal favorite though, currently i love "rule of the bone" by russel banks...
its very similar to catcher in the rye and its about this kid that runs away and moves to Jamaica with an old Rasta. its clever and interesting and you really watch the main Character grow and change from a delinquent to a young man.
