Too much sun exposure causes freckles, if that's what u have then don't stay out in the sun too long, or put sunscreen before stepping out. Or if they are blemishes, before washing ur face gently rub lemon juice on the spots and leave it on for a 15 minutes, then wash it off. Do this everyday. It should help lighten the spots. Me, i use lemon juice as face mask, i apply it on my face at night then wash it off in the morning. My brown spots on my face (from popping whiteheads) lightened and are now fading. Also use a good facial wash, because blemishes are sometimes just dirt embedded in ur pores. If none of these work, consult ur dermatologist. :)

They are probably related to over exposure to the sun. There are fading creams to help. They are the same creams used for age spots.

Go to a dermitologist. They are the experts in the arena - more than anyone on Yahoo! Answers.

It sounds like they might be able to remove them with a simple laser treatment, but the doc would know better than anyone.

Have you been in a tanning bed a lot? One lady I knew got them all over her face--very unnatural----from the tanning bed, staying in too long. You are still tanning the next day--that's why they tell you not to go every day.

If not the tan bed, then maybe genetics?

How to remove--sorry, I do not know. Except to tell you not to look in the mirror too much. People love you for your heart and not your face.

they make over the counter creams that are supposed to lighten skin spots but if they are really dark or do not respond to these over the counter treatments, you may have to see a dermatologist for a more personalized treatment
