And how far apart from your culture you think you could go? Any preferences as to nationalities and WHY?

I think I would consider it, but only because I really like different cultures and countries and am interested in them, and world religions.
I have seen many religious and racially mixed marriages work.
However, it might be easier to marry within your own culture and religion.Marriage is hard enough.
Prefrences? I don't know, for me, I would consider Egyptian, and Turkish, and Italian's, and Indian's or Pakistani's,besides, of course, American's, which I am.
Why? I have friends from all of these nationalities, and find them to be warm, loving, and honestly, at times, much more interesting and sincere.

I would definitely consider marrying outside my culture if I met the right person. For me it's not really about how far apart the cultures are, it's about how much a person respects other cultures and religions.

Well, I am a girl from Western background and will soon get married to an Indian man, whom I love very much. I think if you can accept each others culture, there is no problem in marrying into another culture

Yes I would. I like white guys myself and I'm black. I think it is something sexy about how they tan and how blue or hazel their eyes are. Even height wise for some. I know those are general things and can be seen as attractive on anyone, but when it comes to white guys I just have a really strong preferrence for those things on them. And no I'm not for the eminiem guys or the guys that are straight haters. I say be who you are but not close-minded to other ppl in your world. I'm open to other races as well, just white guys on the top of my list. And it doesn't really matter what culture someone comes from when you fall in love and marry them because the love is what matters and the true feelings there, and not just because they are someone different from your own culture or race. Look for the good and love in ppl not what society wants you to focus on.

I would consider. Different cultures can be really colourful. I have no preference to any nationalities. All customs have their pros and cons therefore no one should judge another culture. Just as long he's a loving person.

Of course! Having two different cultures will bring so much more in a marriage.

Of course! The only thing that is important is how much the two of you are willing to compromise. All marriages are based on compromise. If you are not willing to give into each other a little bit it won't work whether you are the same or different.

Man....I've been asked this so many times. My parents are from opposite sides of the earth....religion wise, race wise, culture wise and family wise. I would definitely consider it because I mean....I wouldn't be here if my parents didn't take a chance on each other.

True love knows no color, no race... If you really love someone race is not an issue. I am black and have dated guys from my race and outside of my race. And guess what... they're all the same... just people. Race is not an issue with me. If I really like a person I will not let that stand in my way.
