I love them, but there's something about that place that I don't like.... don't know what it is but I get really nervous...

Yes, I definitely like the racing at Bristol. It is one of those tracks that I eventually want to visit.
However, the racing at Bristol used to be better. It seems lately that the cars are so fast that they have only one good groove making passing a premium. It also creates racing where the bumper becomes the tool for passing. I'm not too sure that's the way racing should be.
A lot of things happen at Bristol and the race next week could affect the Chase dramatically.

Any race at Bristol is awesome but the night race is where the gloves tend to come off and we all get to see more parts and pieces fly.
Sorry Julie but Bristol is not banked 26 degrees, Bristol is 16 degrees on the straights and 36 degrees in the corners.
IMO the guy to watch for this weeks race has got to be Elliot Sadler. WIll he win? Probobly not I think that honor will go to a DEI car. Before ya hammer me.. I didn't say JR I said DEI!

If you can only see 1 NASCAR race it should be Bristol night race. The best race in the world. No mater where you set, you have a good view of the race. Kyle Petty said it was like driving a jet plane in a soup bowl. My crew leaves out in the morning. I will ride my Harley up Wednesday. Don't know why you would be nervous, It's the most fun you can have with your clothes on..... LOL

I can't find a thing in the world that I don't like about Bristol. With it's 26 degree bankings, the sound echoing as the cars round each turn, not to mention there isn't a bad seat in the whole place, Bristol is definately my favorite track.

I love Bristol! Well, the cars have to race close together & there are a lot of wrecks, that's what makes me a little nervous.

Bristol is the only race that I have ever been to where I need either my ear plugs or a scanner on my ears at all times. It is fast, close, loud and exciting. The echo is defening and the action is unlike no other. Is is the best night race I have ever seen and I can't wait to leave for there on Friday morning!!!!! It is almost like everything is faster and louder at night!!

You get nervous because there is always a chance your favorite driver will get caught up in someone else's wreck. I love Bristol, but I get nervous for the same reason.

bristol has probbaly the best racing on the circut, and that feeling of nervous, thats sitting, waiting for the huge wreck that is almost guaranteed to happen
