Why is that I don't have anything to talk about with quiet person? When ever I am in company with somebody who talks alot ,I will keep the conversation going,but when ever I meet people who are quiet ,I feel very uncomfortable and stay quiet my self with no idea what to talk about? Does this happens to anyone?

It's because you need some feedback from time to time, and shy people aren't too good with that. Sometimes they stay so quiet that if the two don't know each other well, the person who's talking might start wondering if they are even interested in the topic.

Small talk is a honed skill developed by lots of boring conversations about stuff you don't really care about just to avoid awkward silence.
