once i plug in the usb cable after installing itunes and uploaded new songs after the new installation, it asks "do you want to change the link to this itunes library and replace all existing songs and playlists on this ipod with those from this library?" If i click yes, it will delete my ipod and just upload the newly added songs. If i click no, only the songs before installation are on the ipod. need help plz.

well theres your problem

you should have just installed it straight from the website it would keep all the songs and delete the old one what you have to do is get all the old songs on itunes again plus the new ones and then just press yes

If you reinstall, you will need to reload everything you want to keep on your ipod into your ipod folder. If those things are already on the ipod, it will not replace them.

before you delete your itunes, you must burn a cd with all songs., later reinstall itunes and try to put again all your songs by cd on your library,. i think so.-

ooooo um thats a hard one im not sure how i did it. i thinbk there was an option like do you want to update your ipod?? and i said no then it allowed me to add more music to my ipod

You don't you reload them if you have your backup files. If not another lesson from the school of hard knocks.
