is virgin mobile on the Sprint PCS service if so why when i try to download ringtones and stuff will it not allow me to download the sprint version

Virgin, Sprint, and Verizon use the the CDMA network but each use different interfaces so that they are not compatible with each other. It's all about marketing and profitablilty.

Sprint and VM are together cause the have the same voicemail setup.
