Tools->Options is nice, since it lets you set a group of tabs as your homepage, but otherwise, this is faster.
See the icon that is to the left of the "http://" in the firefox address bar? Usually it's either the logo of the web site you're on, or a document icon.
Click that and drag it onto the home page icon just to the left of it, and let go. Firefox will ask if you want the page as your home page. Click "yes" and you're done.

Click on Tools, the Options. Click on the General tab on the Dialog box that you see. There, you can change the Homepage of Firefox.
