most likely its OK. you probably still irregular. I've went up to 3 months without one. But I would still talk to your mom about it. Do you have an eating disorder? because that can cause you to not have periods

You're so young its entirely possible to be messed up in this area.
If you think about it, you haven't even had the period for two years yet. Generally, what women (even young ones) are told is if they have their periods regularly and then it stops they should see a doctor.
If you're very, very athletic or otherwise do a lot of physical exercise that can stop your period. If you're extremely, extremely stress out that can stop it too. Also, dietary deficiences and medical conditions can stop it. If, by any chance, you've done any drastic dieting that can cause it too. This is something you need to see a doctor about.
By the way, you must know already that oral sex would never result in pregnancy.

When you are younger it is not unusual to skip a few months. As you are growing into young womanhood, your hormones will cause your body, and thus your monthly cycles; to change or re-regulate itself. You should mention this to your Mom. She most likely had a very similar experience when she was your age. It is important for her to know what is going on involving your health, as she has the ability to make a doctors appointment for you, if your period does not start up again within a few months. I am very glad to hear that you are not participating in any sexual activity at your age. That is a good decision, you are far too young, and have many years to meet a special person that will become your first sexual partner. Good luck and have a nice evening!

You are probably fine. Most girls have irregular periods. Even though you have had them for over a year, your body is still growing and changing. Your menstrual cycle will change too. Many girls don't start having completely regular periods until after high school.
Once you have started your period, you should be going for yearly check-ups with a gynecologist. If you haven't seen one yet, get your mom to make you an appointment. (Or dad, guardian, whoever you live with.) It's a safety precaution to ensure that your body is maturing the right way, and you haven't developed anything, like a cyst or fibroid.

This is very normal sometimes it takes a few years for you to develop a regular cycle. Some women don't have a "regular" cycle and this, for them is "normal". Spme women are as regular as clockwork.
Keep a calander diary and mark when you menstrate so you will have an idea of a pattern forming. Your "regular" cycle might be every 2 months or 3 months. It may change or stay this way. Eat healthy, get plenty of exercise, and enjoy being a delightful young woman!

youll be okay hun
your body is just being wierd
every girl has had a moment like that
if you dont get your period in a another month
go to a OBGYN, gyno
and theyll give you some low dose
birth control pills
to get your period regular again
your biological clock just ran out of batteries
or is just slow, thats what they did for me
they wont need a checkup on you
because you havent had sex or your not over 16
so dont worry bout it
talk to your mom
make an appointment if it still occurs

The only way to really tell if something is wrong is to talk to a GYN or your MD. It could be something called POCS--Poly cystic Ovarian Syndrome. I have that myself and without the help of birth control to regulate my cycle, I can go very long periods of time without one.
So, you may want to schedule and appointment with your doctor to find out what may be going on.
It could actually be nothing. I know most girls tend to have irregular periods when they're younger so that could be it as well.

It's not unusual for teens' cycles to be uneven like that, especially during growth spurts. If you're dieting a lot or if you're anorexic, your period can stop also. It's probably a good idea to see your doctor, just to be sure there's no infection or any other medical problem going on, but it may be nothing to worry about.

Well, if you haven't had sex, it's probably just hormones...I have an aunt who did not have her period for a WHOLE YEAR, and she was not pregnant at all or anything like that. Mine sometimes skips around, that can happen if you've been stressed, or if your body has to adapt to certain changes. I would talk to your doctor, though, and see what she says.

If you are an active person, then your period can cease. I would go see a doctor. Since you have not partaken in any sexual escapades with anyone, you should be able to ask your Mom to take you to the doctor. Tell her what you are feeling. If you are too scared to do that, you can go to your local planned parenthood and ask them questions. Its private and confidential.
