bromine or ((potassium chloride))

methanol (CH40) or ((Carbon Dioxide))

((pentane (C5H12))) or Decane (C10H22)

((fluroform(CHF3))) or Carbon Tetrafluoride (CF4)

iodine chloride or ((sodium sulfide))

hydrogen gas (H2) or ((Hydrogen Chloride Gas (HCI)))

Helium gas or ((neon gas))

((ammonia (NH3))) or nitric oxide (NO)

In my answers, ((____)) indicates my guess. I am kind of unsure of some of these. Let me know if I got any wrong.

Thanks to all!

I am right with my answer for you, if I wasn't sure I looked it up!
Plus Tetrafluoride is -130 and Fluoroform is -82.1 so you are right!

1) Right
2) Wrong: ((Methanol)) is 64.7 Celsius and Carbon Dioxide is -78 Celsius
3) Wrong: Pentane 36 Celsius and ((Decane)) 174 Celsius
4)Right
5)Right
6) Wrong: ((Hydrogen gas)) -33 Celsius and Hydrogen Chloride gas -85 Celsius
7) Right
8) Right

I gave you the degrees in Celsius you can check it over, but I am pretty sure its right! Just change your answers to the ones I put in (( )). Have a good one!

Methanol has a higher boiling point than carbon dioxide (actually carbon dioxide doesn't exist in liquid form at atmospheric pressure but it sublimates from solid to gas at low temperature)

Decane has a higher boiling point than pentane.

I suspect that carbon tetrafluoride has the higher boiling point

Don't know

I think neon and ammonia are right for the last two
