Yes. My name is Nathen. Nathen instead of Nathan. N-A-T-H-E-N. I think it's fine to tell someone that they've mispelled it. In fact if, lets say, you are filling out important paperwork with someone and they mispell your name it could be a problem.
I don't correct people all the time just because I'm tired of it. But I think its fine if you do it in a polite way.

If it's a matter of spelling, my dear Miss Mayonnaise, it's perfectly ok. It might not always do any good, but you could still tell them, no problem.

Certainly, especially in regard to official documents. I do not know how it is in other countries but it can be heaps of trouble having it corrected on some data base.

It's perfectly okay to tell them. Just politely let them know that they have misspelled your name. Don't be rude about. Besides if you misspelled someone's name wouldn't you want them to say something?
