Other than the fact that its not a perfect racquet anymore, I was just wondering if its a biggie or not?

Paint chips should be of no concern. As long as there is no structural damage or cracking you should be fine. Some players view their racquets as weapons of war and paint chips are merely battle wounds from their court encounters.

If the chip is around the head of the racquet it's fine. There's no harm done there as long as it's not a huge gouge. If the racquet plays the same as before then there's no reason to think that your racquet is permanently damaged.

Check if you have cracks on the raquet, on the side that paint got off. May be is a minor scratch.

depends on where and what its made out of. If its just a paint chip dont worry about it, but if you see a crack then you might be in trouble

Nah, it's normal and a part of playing the game hard. As long as it's not warped, and the strings hold their tension, keep on swingin' brother.

not at all the paint just makes it look pretty! you should see my racket i have slammed it and thrown it so many times and it still works the same way!

Do not sweat it. Just a cosmetic ding. It will not affect the way your racket plays at all.
