Yes, my senior year in high school one of my friends who actually went to another school was killed in a car accident. I kept the newspaper obit.
My son, just this past year, the day after school let out, experienced the same tradgedy. There's still a huge roadside memorial where the accident occured. He asked me to bring home the local papers so he could get the obit.
This happened just a few months after we lost my sister-in-law...whom I also went to school with....
It's been a rough year.

Not while we were in school, but over the years I have seen a few of them. The reality check was at our 25 year reunion and 4 of them were not there.

Yes. Twice. Once in primary school (He passed away from 5 cardiac arrests from playing football with asthma), And one in High School (He was out at a park drinking with mates when someone came up and stabbed him with a machette, an axe and a boning knife.). Its not a very nice thing to see and i wouldn't wish it upon anyone.

I've known a few classmates who've died over the years. That is always a sad occasion.

Yes. Unfortunately I did. There was a small write up in the newspaper about how she died. It was a bicycle accident. A car hit her.

Yes, too many times. Some while we were in school and some since. It is always a shock.
