allergies usually come around at the same time of year. The best way to check and see if it is a cold not allergys is to use and antihistamine. As in and allergy relief medicine. If you respond well, guess what you have allergies, if you still feel crummy you are sick. Remember a cold untreated should last three to seven days. Not a month or so the way allegies can. If you find you have a cold rest don't take over the counter meds. Drink plenty of water. Stay away from milk products which cause a build up of phlem while you are sick.

An allergy attack will go away when you remove the allergen, a cold will stick around untill it wants to leave.
