Start running regularly, or jogging. It will not only regulate it, it will become shorter.

Are you sure you are always late? I ask because I used to think I was late all the time too. I wasn't, my cycle was just longer than average. (36 days from start of each period so some months I don't even have one.) Have you tried charting it? Get a calendar with all months on one sheet. Circle the first day of your period and line through each day of it. Do this each month then see if there is any regularity showing. If you have done this, and it is irregular, then see your doctor for low dose birth control pills to regulate it.

The pill can be used to regulate your period. Eating right getting enough rest, avoiding stress, and exercise can all help as well.

Have you tried charting your period? If you mark it on a calendar for 6 months you can begin to see a pattern and you may find that your period is more regular than you thought it was. (23-35 days per cycle is considered "normal") My doctor had me try this because I thought I had an irregular period.

Birth control ask your Doc he'll say the same thing! Plus, you'll have a lighter period, and that's great! Their are allot of benefits for taking the pill. When you start you will know exactly what day you WILL start your period so you can even plan vacations months in advanced. A lot of good things by taking the pill ask your Doc or go to the health clinic. Best wishes.

Its just a natural thing.. i say keep it that way.. it unfortunate that it comes late or catches you in suprise each month but there is not much that i know of that you can do about it.. dont worry just let it happen naturally and if your really worried birth control is known to help out problems like these but..can also create new ones..
